Considering its mountains, no wonder Bulgaria offers great ski and snowboard conditions, with a typical season from mid December to mid April. Home to world class ski resorts as well as small mountain towns, you can pick from luxury accommodations to apart-hotels or authentic mountain lodges. The top ski resorts are Bankso in Pirin Mountain, Borovetz in Rila Mountain and Pamporovo and Chepelare in Rhodope mountains.
Each of the destinations offers skiing and snowboarding lessons for both group or individuals, as well as equipment rentals.
