Depart for Borovets. After a pleasant drive around the Iskur Damp, arrive at Borovets, the oldest and the biggest mountain resort in Bulgaria.
The gondola takes us to the Yastrebets summit, and from there we follow the path via Musala Hut and the Ledeno Ezero (The Icy Lake) to the Musala summit. Along the way breath the fresh mountain air and marvel the magnificent alpine peaks, deep valleys and pristine glacier lakes. Once on the summit, at all the mighty 2,925m height, in your distant sight will be all major mountain ranges of Bulgaria – the Balkan, Sredna Gora, Vitosha, Rhodopes and Pirin. And that makes Rila the majestic one.
