Day 1

Locations: SofiaExplore the city and visit the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Church of St Sophia, the Rotunda of St George. While navigating the small streets or the boulevards of the city’s center, stroll by the marvelous National Theatre, the National Art Gallery, the Parliament and the Presidency. Pass by Sofia University and visit the city’s biggest park- Borisovata Gradina.
Day 3
Locations: Sofia – Pazardzhik (115km, 1Hr15min) → Panagyurishte (40km, 45min) → Starosel (35km, 30min) → Plovdiv (48km, 50Min)The first stop for the day is at Bessa Valley winery near Pazardzhik, producers of the famous Enira brand, whose red wines are truly an elixir for the souls and the senses. Continue to Rumelia Wine-Cellar, still keeping the ancient orthodox traditions of wine making. After the tasting session, depart for Starosel. This is another winery that also pays tribute to the original masters of the wine. In fact, the tasting room imitates Thracian Tomb. After tasting the unique wines of Starosel Winery, depart for Plovdiv. Visit Dragomir Winery Tasting Room in the city and have a dinner at the great restaurants in the charming old town of Plovdiv.

Day 4
Locations: Plovdiv → Brestovitsa (17km, 20min) → Chirpan (73km, 1Hr) → Elenovo (85m, 1Hr)Explore Plovdiv, whose history combines the legacy of many great civilizations. After sightseeing, take a short drive to Villa Vinifera Winery in Brestovitsa. Taste its finest wines and later continue to the boutique winery of Todoroff for tasting of their award winning wines, including Mavrud- a grape vine proprietary not only to Bulgaria, but also to the Thracian Region.
In the afternoon depart to Midalidare Estate in Mogilovo near Chirpan. Enjoy and exclusive Cellar Tasting with tasting of old vintages as well as of new vintage wines which are currently barrel aging.
Our last stop for the day will be at Edoardo Miroglio Wine Cellar next to the village of Elenovo. Vineyards spread on rolling hills, beautiful lake and endless green lawns surround the cellar and complete the excellent wine tasting experience. Some of the varieties cultivated by Edoardo Miroglio wine cellar are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Mavrud, Rubin, and Melnik 55.
Overnight at Elenovo.
Day 5
Locations: Elenovo → Karnobat (100km, 1Hr) → Sliven (55km, 50min) → Veliko Tarnovo (113km, 1Hr30min)Leave for Minkov Brothers Winery near Karnobat, famous with its Minkov Brothers and Cycle brands of red and white wines. From there continue to Domaine Boyar\'s Blueridge Winery. Named for the bluish hue of the Balkan Mountains towering above it, this winery is a proud symbol of contemporary wine industry in Bulgaria and is one of the most modern and technologically advanced wineries in all Eastern and Central Europe.
The wine tasting for the day wraps up at Windy Hills Winery.
Later cross the majestic Balkan Mountain Range, on the way to Veliko Tarnovo, the history capital of Bulgaria. Spread across several hills, with fantastic views, the city has a rich and long history. Walk the coble stone streets and soak into the city’s atmosphere, explore the medieval forest, visit the numerous churches and monasteries in the vicinities, dating back to the early centuries of Christianity.

Day 6
Locations: Veliko Tarnovo → Pleven (130km, 1Hr30min) → Sofia (165km, 2Hrs)In the morning wrap up Veliko Tarnovo’s sightseeing, and after lunch, depart for the wine museum in Pleven, a testament to the city as the first wine industry center in Bulgaria. Situated in a cave, you can taste vast types of wine, representing all wine regions of Bulgaria and the numerous pure Bulgarian grapes- Misket and Dimyat for the white wines and Gumza, Mavrud, Red Muscat, Rubin and Pamid for the red ones.
Early evening arrival in Sofia.

Day 7
Locations: SofiaTransfer to the airport for departure.
